TASK:
To create an memory box containing various artifacts from the time periods covered in this course as if they belonged to a particular Canadian
You will, at the beginning of the course, create a fictional historical Canadian character, who will live through all of the following time periods:
i) 1914-1929
ii) 1929-1945

At the end of each topic, you will consider what events might have most significance for that character and you will place an artifact or artifacts in your shoebox which represents those events for your character with an explanation of why it is most significant for him/her.
At the end of the year, you will select the 3 events that were most significant in shaping that person's life and explain why using the significance criteria and considering the perspectives of your character and the other people involved.
