His History

Lester Ferguson Blakeney was born on June 2nd 1923. Lester was the son of Lester H.D Blakeney and Mary Ferguson.Lester was a tall man with a dark complexion with brown eyes and black hair. He had good development and he was very confident. Lester was very athletic where he played many sports in highschool.Lester lived with his parents at 4512 Melrose Ave in Montreal.Lester was a labourer and his father was a supervisor putting them in the high class range. He completed elemetary school at Hopewell,( 1933-35) followed by going to Glebe Collegiate,(1935-38) but he finished his high school years in Montreal at Technical school.(1938-40) For University he went to Mcgill for Arts.(1940-41) . Lester had a hobby of photography.

Process to his squadron

Lester left school at the age of 18 enrolling in the Canadian Air Force

His 420 Squadron

Squadron 420 was created from late december 1941 and on, They were from london. Their nickname was "Snowy Owl"  They had a motto which was Puhnamus Finitum which in Latin meant "We Fight To The Finish" . It was the 18th squadron formed overseas.

Death 

Lester was put into squardon 420 on January 5th 1944, as him being a pilot he had no problem till just a little bit over a month when on Febuary 25/26th 19 Lancasters from the squarons 400's they were on attack at Augsburg. The planes were 16,000 and 25,00 feet above ground and they were dropping 76,000 lbs of high explosives and 184,000 lbs of incendiaries. Sources say the weather was clear but yet severe damage was caused. Lester was the pilot for the attack and 7 ended up killed and 1 POW (prisoner of war) . They were flying Halifax III LW-420 coded PT-U

He was burried in the DURNBACH War Cemetery in Germany, Plot 4.G.30 

Lester won the war medal for the years 1939-45 and the star medal for the same years

Good so far - need to fix spelling and capitalization as highlighted.
Maybe better to say all the 400 squadrons attacked Augsberg - what was there? Why were they attacking?
Either find out what the military acronyms mean and explain them or omit them and summarize what you do know.
